Dear Interested Parties
I want to complete the sale of my Business "THE ORGANIC CHOCOLATE CAKE COMPANY", and to help all concerned, I am making this offer; please try to help me by placing your bid ASAP, and i will continue to do all I can to be as helpful as possible at my end.
The minimum offer I will consider is £5000 to buy the entire stock and all equipment, including the van, or £4500 excluding the van. The only items not included in the sale are my Partner's Desk, computer, printer inks, a Smeg oven, shredder, blue desk, leather office chair and custom made outdoor sign. These items may be available for use however to the successful buyer.
I will be handing over all necessary recipes, give full training and support, supplier details, web-site, database etc. I will hold back absolutely nothing that is of value to the new owner; in other words I will not sell off bits to others.
My hourly rate is £15 per hour plus expenses.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Our current premises are available for £695 pcm plus all bills, payable in advance plus 1 months returnable Deposit, subject to the usual conditions. This also includes an area in my house for bulky storage - jam & delivery boxes for example.
A £500 cash deposit from every applicant will be deposited in my safe. This will be returned after completion, to all applicants, minus any expenses I deem fair as billable due to time wasting.
The express purpose of this is to avoid any unnecessary delays.
I shall notify all parties of any offers upon receipt, but will not pass on any personal details of other bidders.

The first offer at or above the terms stated here,will be accepted within 6 days, subject to the necessary deposit, unless a higher offer is made. In this eventuality, the clock will be re-set, but the time frame will there after be set at 4 days.
A higher bid will only be taken if it is £500 greater. This value to be determined by myself if it involves a higher hourly rate, a share of future profits etc.
The following dates in August 2010 are not to be counted; 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and provisionally September 1st & 2nd. On these days I shall be exclusively beholden to my Wife and children; if they ban me from "popping into the Office", I will obey without question!
I consider this a binding contract, with only those Parties who have a signed and dated receipt from me acknowledging their £500 cash Deposit accepted as per above conditions.
